Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Booka handles information when you browse the marketplace, contact a professional, create an account, or use our Telegram features.

Information we collect

Public visitors may generate basic technical and usage information such as the page visited, referral source, approximate visit time, browser information, and a randomly generated visitor identifier. Professionals and administrators provide account information such as name, telephone number, username, password credentials, service location, biography, categories, services, portfolio photographs, and Telegram-linking details.

Messages sent through Telegram, WhatsApp, telephone, or email are processed by those providers under their own policies. Booka records limited interaction events, such as a profile view or contact-button selection, to operate the marketplace and understand which features are useful.

How information is used

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Booka marketplace.
  • Create, review, authenticate, and administer professional accounts.
  • Display approved professional information to marketplace visitors.
  • Prevent abuse, investigate reports, and enforce marketplace standards.
  • Measure site reliability and aggregate marketplace activity.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and account requests.

Cookies, local storage, and advertising

Booka uses browser storage for essential functions such as professional sessions, security, saved choices, upload progress, and application reliability. Optional analytics and advertising storage is not activated for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland until the visitor makes a consent choice.

When Google advertising is enabled on an eligible public content page, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to Booka or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized advertising. Visitors can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Visitors may choose necessary storage only, in which case Booka does not load Google advertising for that browser in consent-required regions.

Sharing and service providers

Booka shares information only when needed to operate the service, follow a user’s instructions, protect users or the marketplace, comply with law, or work with infrastructure and communication providers. These providers may include hosting, database, security, Telegram, WhatsApp, email, analytics, and advertising services.

Approved profile information is intentionally public. Professionals should not publish sensitive personal information in a biography, service description, or portfolio. Booka does not sell professional account passwords or private authentication credentials.

Retention, security, and choices

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Booka uses access controls, hashed passwords, transport encryption, backups, and operational monitoring, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

You may request access, correction, account deactivation, or deletion by contacting contact@bookaet.com. Some information may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
